Oh, I didn't want to like this, but I do. I generally like reading stories with a plot, a tension to be resolved, but your use of language was so fun I ended up enjoying it despite myself. My favorite line: "a large nose that you could look past but maybe he can’t." Genius.

I liked how you had the story end on a positivities note. Most sad stories I've read end with the character depressed or dying (these stories include my own) so I loved how you made your character deciding to be happier.

There are so many standout "bits" in this story — from the morse code to the spider, and the roller-coaster ride (and more!). All so original and authentic, and combine to make a really great piece of writing.
