Outstanding reviews
Hey Augustine,This was a beautiful piece. I remember learning how more and more people are stepping up to the plate when discussing their working conditions/contract. Demanding specificities protect all parties involved. This piece seemed to lean on that idea very well. I loved the way you characterized these individuals with incredible tone in the piece. Nice work!!
A parable for our secular times....everyone's going to die, and if you're not a believer, why not take a chance, make a deal with the devil, and do some good with the knowledge while you can, automatically hedging your bet along the way as to your future in the hereafter, has to be a win-win...-:)Sounds like she had some legal experience, as well. -:) Well done! Congratulations on the shortlist. -:)RG
Nicely done! It was an interesting read-I wanted to read on to find out why she wanted to go to hell. Although I understood the picture you were trying to paint I'd say that under 50 is young to be looking like a "typical, unassuming grandmother". I liked the banter back and forth between the characters. When you said "This mortal is insufferably" perhaps you meant insufferable? Excellent job with dialogue :)
