Congratulations Madalyn! I thought that your prose was technically excellent and that the dialogue was well-crafted. I also thought that Beth's chrysalis moment on the Barbadian beach and the subsequent explosion of happiness was very convincingly written and a great way to end the story.A marvellous Friday-night read with a theme that could not be more relevant to today's landscape.

However, I am so proud of Beth for not being sucked into a marriage in which she knew she, nor Dylan, would never truly be able to provide the love and effort needed to make a marriage work.
