This was such a pulpy tale I loved it. Gore, terror, mystery and strange phenomena. My type of story. Your descriptions were very illustrative and carried momentum, it was easy to visualize the carnage as it speedily unfolded. I sense you want the story to be open ended, or at least open to interpretation, but I’m curious as to what actually happened. My best guess at the moment is that was actually Cronus, but perhaps he attacked him in some type of dream world? Regardless, this was a fun read.
